When you need high-quality sound for your podcast, the new Shure MV7-X microphone is a great choice. It uses the same capsule as the other MV7 series microphones, and works great for voice and song recordings.
Like its SM7B model, the MV7-X is a dynamic microphone in a metal, tubular housing with the familiar metal buckle mount. A new, more sensitive capsule has been developed for the MV7-X microphone that does not require as much amplification as the SM7B. Depending on the sound source, the MV7-X typically operates in a gain range of about 35 dB, which is also well suited for the preamps of more expensive sound cards.
