The Sony ECM-W3 is a wireless microphone set that is perfect for filming interviews and vlogs. It contains two microphone transmitters and a two-channel receiver. Microphone transmitters have built-in microphones that provide excellent signal-to-noise ratio. The receiver processes the sound digitally and transmits it wirelessly to the camera.

The ECM-W3 can be connected to a Sony camera's multi-function interface (MI) shoe, allowing the digital audio signal from the receiver to be recorded directly through the camera body. This enables high-quality audio recording with minimal noise.

The microphone also has a noise reduction filter using digital signal processing, which effectively removes noise, and a bass cut filter that reduces noise in the low frequency range. This reduces the noise removal needed in post-processing and makes the workflow more efficient.

The package includes a small charging case, which allows you to continue shooting without worrying about running out of batteries. The microphone transmitter can work for about 6 hours with a full charge. Power is supplied to the receiver directly from the body of the Sony camera.
