A high-quality bright telephoto zoom that has received higher-quality coatings when it comes to version III, which improves contrast and image quality when shooting in backlight. Current high-pixel-density cameras require even sharper optics, so the optical structure has been redesigned to include e.g. five UD lenses, resulting in very little color aberration throughout the focal length range from edge to edge of the image.

The lens focuses up to a distance of 1.2 m, making it ideal for close-ups as well. The autofocus operation has also been further optimized, so you can track a moving subject even in low light.
