The upgraded Cerasafe® Triply frying pan is 100% PFAS-free and plastic-free for healthy cooking. HEIROL Cerasafe® Triply products have a ceramic coating that is completely free of PFAS chemicals, which are harmful to humans and nature, from the manufacturing processes of the product. The product has a long service life and is therefore a favourite among professionals.

A robust triple-layer construction with excellent thermal conductivity. Stainless steel body and handle and riveted handles are resistant to oven use (max 200 C). The product is suitable for all cookers, including induction.

The Cerasafe® Triply range is an ecological range of frying pans: thanks to its excellent heat conductivity, it consumes very little energy, and thanks to the durable coating, the product lasts for a long time. The coating does not contain PFAS chemicals.

An alternative to the PTFE-based PFAS-containing coating is the PFAS-free salt-gel coating, whose main components are the inorganic and organic salts of silica, the second most common element in the earth's crust, silica dioxide, sodium silicate and methyl trimethoxysilane, and water.

Sol gel technology can be used to produce environmentally friendly coatings on a variety of materials at low temperatures, saving energy.

In January 2022, HEIROL became the FIRST Finnish operator to sign up to ChemSec's NO TO PFAS initiative. The movement aims to phase out and ban a number of harmful fluorinated (PFAS) compounds - called "perpetual chemicals" because they do not break down in nature.
