Continental GP5000 AllSeason TR 35-622 tire, black (0101913)

Continental's Grand Prix 5000 AllSeason TR is the most durable tyre in the GP5000 range. The All Season model features an even more grippy Black Chili rubber compound that provides reliable grip in cold and wet conditions. The double-ply 2/220 tpi carcass construction improves the sidewall's resistance to cuts while being more flexible and therefore easier to roll. Vectran puncture protection provides additional protection and the Lazer Grip micro tread provides unparalleled grip and reliability for cornering. The sidewall of the tyre features a black reflective tape for improved visibility in low light conditions. AllSeason is also suitable for hookless rims. Like other top Continental tyres, the GP5000 AllSeason is made in Germany.

The 35-millimetre version is also a great choice for gravel bikes that focus on asphalt. With a thicker tread than the regular 5000 series, the tire is more reliable even on occasional visits to gravel roads.

Vectran is a puncture protection developed and patented by Continental that is lighter, more flexible and provides more protection than a comparable nylon puncture protection. It does not reduce the rolling resistance of the tyre. Vectran is a liquid crystal polymer (LCP), like spider web, spun from a melted Vectra liquid polymer and further processed into a multifilament yarn. Like spider web, Vectran is highly resistant to tearing, while being lightweight.
