Reliable basic model
The Joie i-Snug 2 continues in the footsteps of its predecessor as an excellent first potty for a newborn baby. The cup-shaped bassinet has a separate toddler seat opener that can be removed as the baby grows out of it. The protective trough has special padding on the headrest, sides and seat. There is a three-piece cushioning on each side of the headrest, as well as a moulded memory foam padding. Shade from direct sunlight is provided under a folding canopy, which also keeps drizzle out of the booth when moving from the car to the interior. The car seat is installed rear-facing in the car using the car's own 3-point belt, or alternatively with an optional ISOFIX stand. The stand allows the bassinet to be placed in and out of the car in just seconds, and ensures safe installation with visual colour coding and a locking sound.
The Joie i-Snug 2 car seat is rated for the 40-75 cm seating group, and is suitable for use with a child from newborn to around 12 months of age.

Installation and dimensions:
*The R129 standard aims to improve child safety during car journeys and reduce the risk of incorrect installation of seats. In the R129 standard, crash tests are carried out with a 32-sensor test dummy instead of the traditional 4-sensor one, and side impact in particular has been included in the acceptable marking.
