The Joie Steadi R129 car seat with the highest safety standard is suitable for use from newborn to four years of age. Fitted in the car with a traditional 3-point belt, the seat's universal attachment makes it suitable for all passenger cars and does not require ISOFIX anchors between the seat cushions.

The seat can be installed back or face forward and the one-hand adjustable GrowTogether™ harness/headrest combination allows the seat settings to be changed instantly to suit the height of the child. The height-adjustable headrest also features Intelli-Fit™ memory foam padding for head support, keeping little heads in place even on curves. In addition to the stool-shaped "podium", the seat platform also functions as a seat angle recliner. A day nap can be taken during the car journey, with a total of four selectable recline angles (1 rear-facing / 3 face-facing). The cup-shaped seat protects the infant and the special side impact protection also ensures safety in the event of a side impact. Flexible and wear-resistant seat fabrics can be removed and machine washed. Newborn-friendly seat covers are included.

The removable seat cover can be machine washed (delicate wash 30 degrees, no tumble drying).

*The i-SIZE R129 standard aims to improve child safety on car journeys and reduce incorrect seat installation. In the R129 standard, crash tests are carried out with a 32-sensor test dummy instead of the traditional 4-sensor one, and side impact in particular is included as part of the acceptable marking.
