The durilium sole is also very scratch-resistant, even when ironing awkward points like zippers. Therefore, the Durilium base of iron remains usable for much longer. In addition, Durilium technology allows for optimal distribution of steam over the entire base area. Unlike most competing products, steam sprays from the top, sides and center of the base - even from each of its steam openings - allowing the fabric to wet evenly and effectively, making ironing easier.

Strong and even steam output removes wrinkles faster. The Tefal Ultimate Pure Purple steam iron has a power of 3,000 W, which allows the iron to heat up quickly and steam the fabric efficiently. Its continuous steam output is up to 55 g / min, which ensures an optimal even amount of steam for smooth and efficient wrinkle smoothing. The amount of additional steam is 240 g / min, which allows the steam to penetrate deep into the fabric and remove even more stubborn wrinkles, even from the thickest fabrics. The iron also has a vertical steamer, which allows you to effortlessly and quickly freshen or smooth, for example, clothes, small jackets or delicate fabrics on a hanger. The Tefal Ultimate Pure Purple's automatic steam function selects just the right amount of steam - all you have to do is choose the temperature according to the type of fabric, and the iron will take care of the rest. The iron's intelligent automatic shut-off improves safety, as the iron cannot be inadvertently forgotten to heat up. If the iron is not used in the upright position, the power will turn off after 8 minutes. If the iron is not used in a horizontal position, the power will turn off after only 30 seconds. A large 350 ml water tank makes ironing easier because it doesn’t need to be filled as often, so you iron more clothes at once. The Ultimate Pure Purple steam iron features a unique innovation patented by Tefal - a removable lime collector with a microfilter. The microfilter leaves lime particles up to 0.2 mm in size, which means that the steam entering the fabric is completely free of lime. A lime collector with a microfilter thus prevents the formation of lime stains on the fabric and ensures a long service life of the steam iron. It is also very easy to clean.
