Louisiana Cajun RUB seasoning is an unsweetened blend of Cajun spices, especially suitable for chicken and seafood. The seasoning blend is also suitable for general use whether you want to roast, grill, smoke or make soup.

The RUB seasoning is suitable for dry marinating, i.e. rubbing into meat, and for general seasoning in the home kitchen or around the barbecue. The seasoning mix is also suitable for smoking meat. There is nothing extra in the seasoning, all the ingredients have been rubbed together for a balance of flavour, salt and sweetness. The seasoning should be rubbed into the meat liberally, about 40-50 g per kilo of meat.

• GRILLING: rub the seasoning mixture into the meat or steak with a small drizzle of oil and grill the meat until cooked.
• BROILING: rub a thick layer of the seasoning mixture into the meat and moisten with apple juice, for example. Cook over a low heat until cooked through. Mix the root vegetables with a drop of oil and roll them in the spice mixture. Roast in the oven until cooked.
• WHERE: Dab the seasoning on the steaks or roll the pieces of meat in the seasoning. Fry in a small amount of oil. Add a little liquid, such as cream, and you have a great meat sauce.
• BOIL: Season soups, braised meats and sauces with the spice mix.
• The seasoning mix also works well as a dipping powder, mix with 2 teaspoons of sour cream and refrigerate.
