Ergonomically towards sustainability

A new generation of carrier with a wide range of adjustments and four different carrying positions for back and chest carrying. A waist strap and padded shoulder straps balance weight and make the sling ergonomic. All fabrics are gentle on your baby's skin and safe to mouthfeed.

The BabyBjörn Carrier One has been tested by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute and rated as a hip health carrier. It provides the newborn's hips with the right support and optimal outward rotation of the legs. It promotes hip joint development, which is especially important during your baby's first months of life.

Consistent with sustainable development, the Carrier One Woven's soft seat fabric is made from a blend of recycled polyester and organic cotton.

Suitable for ages 0 to 3. Minimum child weight and height: 3.5 kg / 53 cm. Maximum child weight and height: 15 kg / 100 cm.

Features:

• A higher neck support that provides better support for a larger child's head when sleeping in a sling.
• A redesigned neck support adjustment buckle allows for more versatile neck support positions and support.

Carrying positions

1. From 0 to 4 months: just the right height for newborns. At the newborn level, you can carry your baby higher than usual on your chest; face to face and close to your heart. This ensures eye contact, closeness and the ability to watch your baby breathe. Use leg straps to reduce the leg openings if your baby weighs between 3.5 and 4.5 kg.
2. From 4 to 36 months: a lower level for older babies. The leg openings are easy to adjust to fit a baby who is sitting face up towards the carrier. Maximum weight 15kg.
3. Now 5 to 15 months: You can fold down the headrest and carry him face forward at least occasionally, as his neck, hips and spine are sufficiently developed to do so. In addition, most babies enjoy observing their surroundings with their backs resting safely against their father's or mother's chest. Minimum age for face forward carrying: 5 months. Maximum weight when carried face forward 12 kg.
4. Up to 12 months: Easy and safe carrying position on the back. Lift the child into the carrier with the face towards you and swing the whole carrier from the front to the back. The shoulder straps form a loop around your body to ensure your baby doesn't fall. Easy and safe - in one simple movement. Maximum weight and length: 15 kg / 100 cm.

Materials and care instructions:

• 65% recycled polyester, 35% cotton
• Lining of waist belt: 100% polyester.
• Padding: polyester and polyurethane (straps).
• Machine washable at 40 degrees. Wash separately from other laundry and use a gentle detergent that does not contain bleach.
• No tumble dry.

Safety

The Carry Backpack One meets the requirements of the safety standard EN13209-2:2005. It does not contain any substances harmful to health. Certified to the Oeko-Tex® 100 Class 1 standard for baby products.
