The scanner has several additional settings to help you get the most out of your negatives or slides.

Magic Touch - Infrared Appearance and Scratch Removal Magic Touch technology removes film defects such as spots or scratches from the final image scan.

Auto Exposure - Optimum brightness. Auto Exposure technology achieves optimum brightness to help get the exposure right.

**Auto Color** - Higher resolution. Accurate vividness and contrast, resulting in vivid images with optimum brightness, contrast and vividness.

Faded Film Color Restoration - Corrects faded negative film. Films that have been left in the box for long periods of time can fade in density, contrast and vignetting. Pacific Image's unique restoration technology makes it easy to restore old negatives.

Multipass Xposure - Optimizes dynamic range. Multipass Xposure technology scans each image or slide multiple times to bring out the detail in dark areas of the image without blurring bright areas.

Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) - Reduces grain and noise. Isolates and controls noise/noise in both bright and shaded areas without sacrificing image detail.
