The Joie Fortifi R129 grows with your child, as its headrest, recline angle and side supports are all individually adjustable. Compliant with the latest R129/03 (i-Size) standard, the Joie Fortifi R129 is installed with the car's own seatbelt in the forward-facing position, while children under 105 cm are further supported by separately integrated 5-point harnesses. The steel metal frame is covered with high quality Deluxe seat cushions with a removable and machine washable cover.

The child is placed in the seat, then the headrest and harness can be adjusted with one hand using the GrowTogether™ headrest+harness combination. The car seat itself is easily attached to the car with clear colour-coded grommets. As the child grows up, the harness can be removed and the seat can be switched to a safety belt seat. With up to 9 settings for height adjustment, the AutoAdjust™ side supports open outwards to extend the seating space in the other direction. So it doesn't matter if your child is wearing thicker overalls in winter, because the seat adjusts to the passenger. In addition, the seating position can be easily tilted with one hand to up to 4 different angles.

The removable seat cover can be washed in a washing machine (delicate wash at 30 degrees, no tumble drying).

The Joie Fortifi R129 car seat is classified in the 76-145 cm seat group, and is suitable for use up to around 12 years of age.

*I-SIZE R129 aims to improve child safety on car journeys and reduce incorrect seat installation. In the R129 standard, crash tests are carried out with a 32-sensor test dummy instead of the traditional 4-sensor one, and side impact in particular is included as part of the acceptable marking.
