Dream Sock is intended for routine home oxygen saturation and heart rate measurement of healthy babies. Dream Sock software analyses photoplethysmography data to detect if the baby's heart rate and/or oxygen saturation moves outside the preset range. In this case, the device sends an alert to the caregiver to check the baby's condition.

The data measured by the device and the alerts sent are intended to help caregivers assess whether the baby needs medical attention. The device is not intended to replace traditional methods of diagnosis and/or treatment.
