The Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 9mm F / 1.7 ASPH is an ultra-wide angle and bright fixed focal length lens for the Micro Four Thirds mount. It offers an exceptionally short 9.5cm focusing distance and a large 0.25x magnification. This, combined with the high brightness and wide angle of view, makes it very easy to isolate the subject from the background.
The optical structure includes two aspherical elements, two ED elements, and one UHR element that effectively minimizes chromatic aberrations and aberrations. Thanks to the UHR element, the size and weight of the lens have also been minimized without compromising on sharpness.
