Shelly Bypass controller (-BYPASS) (SHELLY-BYPASS)

Shelly Bypass controller. The Shelly Bypass controller is compatible with the Shelly Dimmer 2 and Shelly 1L controller relays. Bypass is required if the controller relayä is connectedäääwithout a neutral wire and the requirement for minimum load is not met.

The Shelly Dimmer 2 or Shelly 1L controller relay can be connected without a neutral wire, but if this is done, the connected device must meet the minimum load requirements. Dimmer 2 requires 10 W for the connected device and 1L requires 20 W. If the connected device does not meet the requirement for the load, a Shelly Bypass must be used.

Shelly Bypass products support Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant virtual assistants. In addition to the above, myäs several other ädeferraläsystemsä/platforms are supported (please check compatibility on a product-by-product basis). Shelly's products connect to a wireless Wi-Fi network and do not need a separate home automation controller to work.
