CR-Scan Otter offers excellent 3D scanning accuracy down to 0.02 mm for a wide range of object sizes and utilises dual lens mounting. It makes it easy to scan traditionally challenging materials, such as black and metallic objects, without additional fogging.

Select size options and scanning distances

The scanner uses an innovative four-lens stereo vision system to scan objects of different sizes. The long-pulse dual lens is suitable for small objects, bringing more detail, while the short-pulse dual lens is suitable for large objects, extending the scanning range. The scanner can handle objects ranging in size from 10 x 10 x 10 mm to 2000 x 2000 x 2000 mm.

Otter uses a state-of-the-art texture-light stereo matching algorithm and optical design, allowing for true texture and contour tracking of objects.

Smooth and efficient scanning

CR-Scan Otter utilizes One-Shot 3D imaging technology to ensure natural stability and reduce the likelihood of tracking loss. The fast feedback speed ensures smoother manual scanning.

Scan black/metal objects without spray

You can even scan cars, car parts, tires and other black/metal objects without a scan spray to get the desired model effect. Unique face mapping algorithm captures more detail and scans hair with ease. Scanning the human body takes only 2 minutes. The near-infrared light is invisible to the human eye, making the laser safe to use with a Class 1 laser that is harmless to the human body.

Underwater scanning

Developed with advanced DOE (Diffractive Optical Element) 3D structured light technology, the CR-Scan Otter is more adaptable to the environment and maintains excellent performance even in sunlight (<30000 lux).
