The Samyang AF 35-150MM offers a large aperture of f/2 at the wide-angle end and f/2.8 at the telephoto end. It covers five popular focal lengths: 35, 50, 85, 135 and 150 mm. The optical structure consists of 21 elements in 18 groups, including 2 ASP, 1 HB, 3 H-ASP and 6 ED elements. This ensures excellent optical performance throughout the zoom range.

UMC (Ultra Multi-Coating) coating reduces reflections and ghosting, producing natural and clear images. The large aperture helps separate the subject from the background, and 9 rounded dimmer blades create a soft bokeh effect.

The linear stepper motor (STM) is fast and sensitive, suitable for both photographers and videographers. STM offers great focus tracking and smooth transitions. In video shooting, the AF speed is precisely adjusted and the lens works well in manual focus. The digital parfocal structure facilitates focusing in video shooting.

The lens is weatherproof: it is protected in 12 places against dust and moisture. Custom switches and buttons allow full control of the lens. Users can switch functions with three custom switches, such as focus lock, dolly shot, aperture ring and others. In the future, more functions can be added through the firmware.
