The Philips Avent SCD882 baby monitor helps you maintain a safe and secure A-FHSS connection with your child at every moment. It transmits clear sound and images (on a 2.8-inch / 7.2 cm LCD screen) both day and night.

The unique pairing between devices and the Adaptive FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) wireless connection guarantee a safe, secure and uninterrupted connection to your child. When the devices start up, a connection is automatically created between the camera and the parent unit, independent of other devices, to the free band. The frequency is adaptive, i.e. it can be changed if another device tries to use the same band.

On the high-resolution 2.8-inch (7.2 cm) color screen, you can clearly see the events of the Children's Room, both during the day and at night. Depending on the light, the camera automatically switches to infrared night mode to help you see your little one even in a completely darkened room. The camera needs a constant power supply, but the parent's display unit is completely wireless and rechargeable. The battery life of the display unit is up to 10 hours in night mode on a single charge. Alternatively, you can switch the device to ECO power-saving mode, where the screen turns off, leaving only the connection LED active. When there is a sound from the children's room, the screen automatically switches back on again.

The child can be soothed via the parent unit also with a two-way voice connection or with four different lullabies/soothing sounds. The sensitivity of the microphone and the speaker of the older unit have their own separate volume controls. The camera, which can be turned on its tripod with a ball joint, can be rotated and bent to different angles. The camera also has the option of attaching it to the wall if necessary.
